Our world continues to experience massive change and disruption at an accelerating pace.

From the agrarian revolution, followed by the industrial revolution and the information age, this change continues to leave a lasting impact as to how we live today, shaping our behaviour as consumers, while largely improving the quality of our life.

However there are challenges, particularly when it come to the sustainability of our current trajectory.

That’s why at GenCharge, we believe ‘renewable energy independency’ has now become indispensable for achieving efficient, convenient and sustainable use of energy to take us from where we are today and into the future.

From  household applications, to critical power, telecommunications and transport, plus utility scale power generation and consumption – all opportunities for renewable energy independency.

To help with this journey to an ‘electrified future’, we’ve established GenCharge.

What We Do

GenCharge is an Australian owned and operated electrical engineering consultancy formed in 2019.

Our team comprises of engineers and subject matter experts who have played leading advisory and consulting roles for individuals and businesses across power infrastructure, critical power, telecommunications, renewable energy and building services with a combined experience of over 30 years.

We are heavily focused in areas where dynamic and smart applications of clean energy is gaining more importance with the increasing presence of self-generating consumers benefitting from government incentives, electric vehicle uptake by both individuals and business where the fundamental need for energy independence and security.

Why We Do What We Do

Our passion is to develop leading solutions that address Australia’s energy challenges arising from the changing energy behaviour and advise how individuals and business could benefit from the efficient use of available resources.

We believe that distributed renewable generation, e-mobility and storage, (nano and micro-grids), are the key drivers to a dynamic and flexible energy infrastructure that will not only ensure cost-effective and reliable operation, but also help preserve the environment and resources for the coming generations.

Our mission is to meet the needs of our clients with electric vehicle (EV) charging, small to medium scale microgrid systems and distributed renewable energy solutions across residential, strata, commercial, telecommunications and transport space – leading to a future that has a clean, flexible and reliable energy infrastructure.
